Future students

I accept Ph.D. students through the Abess Center and the Department of Marine Ecosystems and Society programs at the University of Miami. Potential students are encouraged to contact me well in advance of the application deadline with a description of their background and interests.
Please bear in mind that I require all students to take the Ph.D. Econometrics sequence at the Department of Economics. This is a demanding set of quantitative classes, and successful students often bring strong quantitative skills from their undergraduate or graduate career.
