Future students
I accept Ph.D. students through the Abess Center at the University of Miami. Potential students are encouraged to contact me well in advance of the application deadline with a description of their background and interests. Please bear in mind that I do not ‘hire’ students to work on specific projects, and that I require all students to take the Ph.D. Econometrics sequence at the Department of Economics. This is a demanding set of quantitative classes, and successful students bring strong quantitative skills from their undergraduate or graduate career.
